Patch Your PS3 and PSP - New firmware updates

PlayStation Store recommendations If you have a PlayStation 3, the new v3.41 firmware is out that will add PlayStation Store recommendations (aka marketing upsell pitches) when the feature is activated in the next few days. If you do visit the store regularly, you may want to update now to prevent yourself from being blocked when the new releases hit later today.

The PlayStation Portable also has a firmware update. v6.31 is more vaguely described as improving "stability during use of some PSP format software titles." So, um, your PSP may crash less with certain undisclosed buggy games? That's what it sounds like. It also, no doubt, takes another stab at blocking homebrew modifications...
