Be Careful Out There - This may get you banned from Xbox Live

Xbox Live's Stephen Toulouse (Stepto on Twitter) has put gamers on notice that performing the so-called Javelin glitch in Modern Warfare 2 that causes you and your foes to die as one will lead to Xbox Live suspensions of 24 hours to two weeks. This announcement came soon after Penny Arcade's Mike Krahulik called someone out for performing the juvenile attack. Here's what the glitch looks and how to do it (just don't, at least not on the Xbox 360!):

The game will be patched soon, but until then, as Stepto says, "Play fair everyone." Unless you have a PS3 or PC: Sony hasn't taken a specific stance on this glitch (and I seem to recall a Sony community rep on a PAX '09 panel saying they aren't big with the ban hammer), and I'd expect the PC version to be open season as always...

I am so glad this is geting banned. this is one of the worst glitches cod has seen. i have to admit i have tried it once and suprisingly it is amazingly fun, but once is enough. i file a complaint against anyone who is using this more than one match since most people use this all the time.
