The newly released Left 4 Dead 2 demo omitted one major bit of fan service - the ability to play as ZOMBIES in versus mode. If you join an existing game (no plug-in required), simply use the command "set_infected 1" to become undead in the game - unless the server has this blocked or you're designated as a survivor by the host.
