If you're playing Torchlight purchased at Perfect World or directly from Runic Games, be aware that the v1.12 update is not a patch but a full rebuild of the game - so you'll have to reinstall. Some people have reported lost saves and mods, so before you install you might back up the Torchlight folder in your AppData folder just in case. If you do lose saves etc., check your Recycle Bin. The version number will be wrong (still says v1.11) and some mods may crash your game if they add files outside of the mods folder.
