Whether you're a fan of Bethesda RPGs or just free games in general, The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall is now freely available for download. All perfectly legal, Bethesda is continuing its tradition of releasing its older games for free (you can snag Arena too, while you're there) , no doubt to promote its newer ones (i.e., Oblivion, Fallout 3). The only real catch is that you'll have to get and install DOSBox, a free DOS emulator, to make the game work with more modern machines. Also, the 148MB download could time out (as it did for me), requiring repeated attempts to get it...
