Pre-order Goodies - Assassin's Creed II

These days, there are a lot of trinkets and even in-game items (usually small bonus items or unlock codes) used to incent pre-ordering. Here's an offer that sounds potentially worthwhile: If you plunk down a few dollars to reserve Assassin's Creed II for PS3 or Xbox 360 at GameStop, they'll give you a palace! That's right, you'll receive a code for the Palazzo Medici Ricardi to explore and plunder. It's not clear how much extra game time this will provide, or whether there will be any missions or just some places to climb and collect items. Apparently it's the area they demo'd at E3, if you were lucky enough to attend and get some hands on time. It does sound potentially more substantial than your typical pre-order bonus, so it gets our vote...
