The Buzz - Would you kindly milk this franchise?

A 2K Games exec is quoted saying that he believes the BioShock series could support up to five sequels, comparing it to Star Wars but warning that it should avoid the erratic story problems of The Matrix series. This, of course, omits the logic that: a) three of the Star Wars movies sucked (even if they did somehow make money) and b) you need a successful sequel before you can afford to get cocky and start getting all George Lucas-y on us. I'm not counting the System Shock games here since they weren't the videogame equivalent of blockbusters - more like critically hailed indy films (not to be confused with Lucas' Indy films!). That said, if BioShock 2 somehow manages to be as good as The Empire Strikes Back, it'll probably be all downhill from there...
