Free Stuff Friday - Full Spectrum Warrior

Full Spectrum WarriorThis week's giveaway is Full Spectrum Warrior for the PS2. In case you missed it, this title reconceived the strategy war shooter by NOT giving you direct control over your squads but rather leaving the AI soldiers some latitude in executing your commands. In some ways, this is considered a much more realistic military simulation and was, in fact, originally developed as as a training tool for U.S. Army officers (you can use the code HA2P1PY9TUR5TLE to unlock the original Army version).

Whether or not this is your type of game (hey, here's your chance to try it for free!), you should know that we recently stocked up on some cool goodies for Free Stuff Friday. Here's a sneak peak at future giveaways:

  • Constantine for PS2
  • Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 for Xbox 360
  • EA Replay (14 games!) for PSP
  • Entertainment Consumers Association "Not a Killer" T-shirt (XL)
  • Frantix for PSP
  • The Hustle: Detroit Streets (billiards) for PSP
  • Perfect Dark Zero giant lenticular launch poster
Plus some surprises, including a DS game you won't want to miss! You never know what the next week will bring, so set a reminder now to check back on Fridays!

Here's how to enter this week's giveaway:

Simply post a comment on this page. Say whatever is on your mind as long as it's not an ad or profane. Be sure to read the Sweepstakes Rules to ensure you are eligible to win and don't get disqualified by double-posting or forgetting to provide an e-mail address.

As noted above, you may also want to white list my domain; I've had several would-be winners lose out because they never responded to their prize notification!

Note that unless you're an authenticated poster who has been active on the site and marked as trusted, your comment will NOT appear immediately. It will go into a queue for me to approve, which I'll do several times a day. Do NOT double-post. We'll extend the entry period for this until 8:01 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, January 29 to ensure you have plenty of time to enter and verify your entry was accepted.

This game looks interesting, it reminds me of Socom, and since I haven't played my PS2 in ages, it might motivate me to do so again!

I hope I win one of these eventually.

I see the pandemic logo there so it must be a decent game.

this game sounds awesome!

blah
