Xbox Live Marketplace - Meteos Wars, free Holiday theme and Snow Globe

It's no PlayStation Home, but Microsoft does have a nifty new Snow Globe for its Xbox 360 dashboard that you can play with - if you're in to that sort of thing. No download necessary; just look for the Spotlight channel and press A to shake a globe loaded with your friend's avatars. When you're done shaking, here's what you'll find new on Xbox Live Marketplace (includes a free Holiday premium-style theme):

  • Arcade: Meteos Wars ($10), PowerUp Forever ($10) and Uno Street Fighter theme deck ($3.50)
  • EndWar Escalation Expansion Pack ($10)
  • Guitar Hero: World Tour Nirvana Track Pack ($5.50, or $2 each) with "Negative Creep," "Sliver" and "You Know You’re Right" and European Track Pack 01 ($5.50, or $2 each) with "Dis-Moi" by BB Brunes, "Mama Mae" by Negrita and "54, ’74, ’90, 2010" by Sportfreunde Stiller
  • Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore 2 tracks ($1.50 each) "Heart of Glass," "How To Save A Life," "Over The Rainbow" and "Waiting For Tonight"
  • Rock Band/Rock Band 2 The Singles 1992–2003 truncated album by No Doubt ($20, or $2 each) with 13 of the 15 tracks - all except "New" and "Trapped in a Box"
  • Community Games: Adventurer Pets HD ($2.50), Bomber Boing ($5), Couples Sudoku ($2.50), Petank Party ($10 and, Retro One ($5),
  • Demo: Sonic Unleashed
  • Game Videos: Mirror's Edge and Saints Row 2
  • Theme: Winter Holiday Premium (free)
Oh, and if you haven't bought "The Colour and the Shape" album for Rock Band 2, be sure to nab it while it's on sale for $15 (normally $20) through this weekend...
