This week, Sony takes a page from Microsoft's playbook with the introduction of themes for cash. It looks like they are testing the price points, with themes ranging from free to $2 apiece. What happens here in the next few weeks may decide what the prevailing cost will be going forward. Here's what you'll find in the well-stocked store:
- Linger in Shadows ($3) - a "digital art experience" for just more than you probably pay for your daily coffee
- Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords ($15), complete with the Wrath of the Plague Lord expansion
- Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars ($15) - the name sort of nails it
- Super Stardust HD Solo and Team modes ($15 for bundle, $8 for add-on)
- Qore Episode 5 ($3 each, or $25 for a year) - pay-to-play Valkyria Chronicles demo and some Halloween-themed content
- Civilization Revolution Brave New Worlds Map Pack (free) and Victory Pack scenarios ($1.25)
- Dead Space Obsidian Suit (free) only for PS3 and Space Scorpion Suit ($2.50), each with added toughness and extra inventory slots
- Mega Man 9 Endless Attack Mode ($3) and Protoman Mode ($2)
- Hot Shots Golf Fall Fashion Line ($3) five costumes with six variations each
