This week, I have a little something for the shooter fans. Unless you were at Penny Arcade Expo and either squeaked into the Fallout 3 talk or hung around late on Sunday, you probably won't be able to find this cool, rare treat. It's the Fallout 3 poster designed specifically for the show by Penny Arcade artist Mike Krahulik. You've probably never even seen it before; it's so rare that I couldn't even find a picture of it on the Internet so I had to snap my own! Fortunately for one lucky Busy Gamer News reader, we snagged an extra.
If you're just not into Fallout 3, that's OK. We also located a new, sealed Halo 3 teaser poster that could be yours instead. You can actually play for one or both (though you will only take home one if you win).
Here's how this works:
Simply post a comment on this page. Say whatever is on your mind as long as it's not an ad or profane.
Be sure to say which poster(s) you're interested in, or I'll assume you want Fallout 3. I'll then draw a sequence of winners. If the first wants Fallout 3 or asks for both, that person will win Fallout 3. Then, after I confirm the winner, I'll continue down the list until I find someone interested in Halo 3. If by some chance the first person drawn wants only Halo 3, I'll award it and then draw a Fallout 3 winner.
Be sure to read the Sweepstakes Rules to ensure you are eligible to win and don't get disqualified by double-posting or forgetting to provide an e-mail address. (You may also want to white list my domain; after several near misses, I finally had someone lose out on a prize because they never responded to their prize notification!)
Note that unless you're an authenticated poster who has been active on the site and marked as trusted, your comment will NOT appear immediately. It will go into a queue for me to approve, which I'll do several times a day. Do NOT double-post. We'll extend the entry period for this until 8:01 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, November 6 to ensure you have plenty of time to enter and verify your entry was accepted.
TEASER FOR NEXT WEEK: The Nov. 7 giveaway will be related to Gears of War, but it's not what you think. Pretty cool though.

Awesome Contest Gamewatcher! I am only in the first town on Fallout but I am loving the VATS! Oh when will I finish Fable, must lose sleep. I want the Fallout 3 poster but would still enjoy the Halo 3 one.

Hey, its very cool how your giving us the oppurtunity to receive a free poster and i appreciate it. I would prefer to have the Fallout 3 poster but i also would like the Halo 3 poster if i can't get the Fallout 3 because one of my favorite first person shooters is Halo and i've been following the series from the start and have bough the legendary edition.

id love to go to pax and get a chance to see this stuff. It also sucks i have to drive 30 miles to be able to get fallout 3 cuz my walmart doesn't have it.......... Anyways that fallout 3 poster would be a lovely addition to my collection.

What's on my mind, eh? Today's shitty day is what's on my mind. I went to bed at 12:30 AM last night. A normal day. Went to bed 30 minutes later than I usually do, but it's no big deal. I have to wake up for school at 6:30, but what happens? For some damn reason, my body wakes itself up at 5 in the morning. Couldn't fall back asleep. To top it all off, I have a chemistry exam today.
Now that that's done. I would prefer the Fallout poster.

Fallout 3 poster is out of this world.
I want it bad. Will put it next to my Capital Wasteland poster that came with the hardcover strategy guide.

I liked the whole idea of the Vaults being sinister sociological experiments, and I was surprised to find that it wasn't just PA's idea, that in Fallout 3 Bethesda really plays up the idea, and you explore several abandoned vaults, slowly piecing together the monstrous experiments that took place in each one, killing all the inhabitants. It's pretty awesome.
Shame about the characters being so awful and the places so repetitive though. That's Bethesda for you. Still want the Fallout 3 poster though.
