If the rumors are true, the Xbox 360 fall dashboard update arriving on Dec. 4 (dangerously close to being a winter update!) will add a parental controls timer (confirmed!) plus support for downloads of original Xbox titles (also confirmed, with known issues) including Halo, Fable, Crimson Skies, Burnout 3, Psychonauts and Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex. Each virtual console game is reportedly $15 each. There may even be a bonus 500 Microsoft points ($6.25) for charter subscribers who've paid for Xbox Live service for as long as its been offered. It's even been suggested that all subscribers will get Carcassonne for free this week to honor the 5-year anniversary of Xbox Live and the 100th Xbox Live Arcade game release. The bad news? It looks as if the superhero MMO Marvel Universe Online might be cancelled, but then other recent cancellation rumors (including Alan Wake and Fable 2) have proved false...
