Whoa! - Valve bans BioShock from offices

In order to keep employees' focused on their impending ship deadline for Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and The Orange Box, Valve has banned the play of BioShock in its offices. Once the final game code has dropped, Valve's own Big Daddy Gabe Newell has promised to give his staff free copies of the game. Hm, if they love BioShock so much, why don't they marry it, er, offer to build a online follow-up for 2K Games? That would be $40 that I, for one, would happily part with - and I'm a hard sell when it comes to multiplayer-only titles...

Alright you have convinced me, I will try and buy Bioshock tomorrow. I was waiting to rent it, and since Two Worlds is getting only average reviews forget it. Hopefully it can live up to the word of mouth hype I have received. But if I have nightmares like I did when I played thru System Shock 2 I am blaming YOU. :P

So, what do you think? BTW, the best remedy for nightmares is not to sleep - which isn't a problem when you are hooked on this game.

I actually didn't find it too scary after the first few hours, but it did leave a deep impression. I'm sure my subconscious has been doing some wacky acrobatics with it, but I haven't been remembering my dreams lately.
