Misery Loves Company - World of Warcraft armory site launches and crashes

World of Warcraft Armory Blizzard launched an ambitious Web repository called The Armory designed to display real-time World of Warcraft game data on characters, arena teams and guilds in a user-friendly format. It's a great way to show off your characters to friends. Only problem is that the site is already down, no doubt overwhelmed by the hordes of avid players. What, did someone forget to stress test the site prior to launch? Here's a tip: Launch it as an open beta, so that way if it crashes you can thank everyone for helping make the final product better. Oh wait, the site came up and it is marked Beta! Wonder if that was always there, or hurriedly added when it crashed. Either way, nice save...
