When you run one of these games, you'll be forced to install v1.5 of the PSP firmware, which is designed primarily to block emulators and other homebrew software. The good news? The hackers already have a workaround. But it's only a matter of time before Sony starts forcing newer versions (such as 1.52) that haven't been bypassed...
