News Flash - Microsoft to support HD-DVD

Microsoft is showing an early preference for HD-DVD with an announcement that it's working to integrate support for the format into Windows and possibly a "future update" to the Xbox 360. This begs the question: Will the 360's hardware be able to read HD-DVD discs, meaning a future software update might unlock this functionality, or is Microsoft already anticipating a possible second wave of hardware for its next-gen console...
