Whoa! - Coppola disowns Godfather game

Director Francis Ford Coppola told off Paramount Pictures on the AMC show Sunday Morning Shootout for selling out The Godfather. The haughty auteur denounced an early build of the EA game adaptation. Though it includes the voicework of pedigree actors (Brando, Caan and Duvall), the game apparently sacrifices story and character development: Lots of shooting, not so much with the talking. Not that this is shocking to anyone who's played a videogame adapation of a movie. Or most any game for that matter. Word is that EA execs are on their first-ever horse head alert...
