An even better rumor for the Nintendo DS is the use for its so-called "mystery port," recently revealed to be a microphone jack. Apparently the DS will include voice-over-IP software that works with the game system's built-in 802.11b wireless networking. So when you're sipping lattes at Starbucks (or anyplace that's a wireless hotspot), you can make free phone calls. This could be a killer app for the system, if it's not clunky and supports a decent headset...
